Printer ink?

Is it ok to take ink cartridges out your printer to see if they are empty and then put them back if still full?Printer ink?
its ok to do that but u wont get the right info. If u have an up to date printer like lexmark they usual have a program install unto your computer go to that program and they usual tell you the amount of ink u have in a picture diagramPrinter ink?
It probably won't hurt anything, but it's not really a good idea. Most printers have a software utility that will tell you approximately how much ink is left in the cartridges - check the manufacturer's website for more information.
firstly yes you can but your printer will probably notify you that a cartridge was removed and ';has it been replaced with a new one?';(just click no)

Secondly....how are you going to tell if it's empty or not by looking at it? because I would definately not suggest shaking it to find out !!! the only way I can think of is to weigh it on a set of digital scales against the weight of a new FULL one.

U cannot physically see, Use the printer software ';status monitor'; to see the remaining ink levels.
Its ok...but dont touch the magnet or the area where the ink comes out....
yes as you wish
