Typically you buy the same brand of ink as whoever manufactures your printer. There will be an identifier number on the cartridge. Get the same type of cartridge.

I suggest getting ink that is from the same brand as your printer. I have a HP printer and get HP ink. It is quite helpful. When we tried buying a different brand it did not work as well...Hope that helps

i have hp so must use their ink or the warranty is void
