What numbers do you look for when buying ink for your printer?

Okay I figured out how to get the old ink out, now its time to figure out out what to look for when buying. What numbers do you look for when buying ink for your printer?
There is a model number on the cartridge. If you have an HP, just look for a 2 digit number on the cartridge.

Also, if you take the old cartridge into the store, they can tell you which one you need. What numbers do you look for when buying ink for your printer?
easiest thing is to take them with you to Staples or wherever you buy ink.

ALSO, take ur printer make and model numbers in case the first option doesn't work
I look for the numbers next to the $ honestly....

What kind of printer is it? Make and model....

Anybody know how to get black printer ink out of beige carpet ?

I would try paint thinner. It works, trust me.Anybody know how to get black printer ink out of beige carpet ?
Take bottle of hairspray in the can and spray it then blot it with papper towl.Hairspray works great with any ink.Anybody know how to get black printer ink out of beige carpet ?
If it's ink from a home printer like Cannon, etc., then it's water soluble ink. Just use a damp rag on it, blotting until the spot is gone. I removed red printer ink from beige carpet this way and it completely came out.

How much does a Solid ink printer cost?

well they range from 600.00 to 15,000.00. I guess it is what you are willing to pay for and what your needs are. I think I have the best deal right here thought check it out if you are looking to save all the money you possibly can and sacrifice speed and quality. How much does a Solid ink printer cost?
If you mean a laser printer as opposed to an ink jet printer, they cost about twice I think. A really good laser printer is made by Hewlett Packard and you can go to www.hp.com and type in laser printer and you will see the price. Probably under shop online, or a similar thing to click on.

Is it possible to use a brand of ink in a printer from a different brand?

Hi, I have a Dell printer and I need to buy some black ink. Unfortunately, the only brands sold at Best Buy (where I was planning to go) do not include Dell inks. So does anyone know if it's ok to use any other brand for this printer? Is it possible to use a brand of ink in a printer from a different brand?
Sure you can. Just as long as its the right one for your printer. Some places even fill up your old cartridges for you.Is it possible to use a brand of ink in a printer from a different brand?
Just bring the clerk your printer make and model number and he will give you the right cartridge for your printer. There is a huge $ mark-up on ink. Some companies will tell you that they will not honor the warranty if you use another brand ink, So what? I can buy a new printer with an ink cartridge included for what Lexmark wants for one black and one color ink cartridge.
buy a refill kit and you save lots of money on ink.

see the label on the kit carton , whether it says its for Dell printers or not.

get an Epson R280 and get a refillable or what so called Continuous Ink System. Here are two good choices -

HP deskjet printer.. it only cost around $40 (aus) and the cartridges can be refilled 3 times before having to buy new ones. The refill costs $10. The new one cost around $50 for the black and colour cartridges.and I get heaps of usage out of them..
Get a Kodak printer ESP 3. The ink is very resealable just about $14.95 for all colors.

I left the link for the printer below. Then you purchase the Ink from Kodak. This is a great system for the right price - for the next few years.
Go to the Epson website and check out Clearance. Printers are refurbs and the warranty is the same as the new ones. Free S%26amp;H. Then go to the website and buy a CISS for the printer you selected. The CISS will save you TONS of money and almost never run out of ink. http://www.inkproducts.com/ink-store/

What computer store can I find the Dell 926 printer ink?

StaplesWhat computer store can I find the Dell 926 printer ink?
Staples and Walmart only sells the small versions of the Dell Series 9 (926 printer).

There are probably some computer shops that will sell refilled versions as well, just make sure they back up their product with a good warranty.

If you do a search on the web for 926 printer cartridges, many places will pop up.What computer store can I find the Dell 926 printer ink?
Staples has all Dell inks exclusively.

Or Office Depot, they have their equivalent.

Both will be cheaper thana comp store because fo higher volume sales.
a different answer.. the walgreen drug store is filling cartridges.. ten dollars black fifteen dollars color.. take your cartridge to them.. they test it afterward and if it does not work you dont pay.. ok gilermo.
Dell seem to be going the online sales way... to get their ink...

go to dell's website and see who sells their ink

How can I get ink from my printer out of my carpet?

The ink accidently sprayed on my carpet. Is there anything that will take this out?How can I get ink from my printer out of my carpet?
Liquid printer ink is generally solvent based and will require a solvent to clean. Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) is a rather mild solvent, but it will work for most inks.

Blot up as much as possible with a dry towel, and be sure to work from the outer edge toward the center of the spill. Then dampen a clean, white cotton towel with isopropyl alcohol (do not pour alcohol directly onto the carpet), and blot the stain. Repeat until ink is no longer being transferred onto the towel. If there's still a stain, try blotting with household hydrogen peroxide on a white cotton towel. Alcohol will dry out, but if you use peroxide you will need to rinse thoroughly with water. How can I get ink from my printer out of my carpet?
Spray the area really well with hair spray. Blot the ink up well with plenty of paper towel. DO NOT rub the hairspray in. Re apply more hair spray if it doesn't all come up right away. Then, use a damp cloth to remove the hair spray residue. Blot well with paper towel. Good luck!!!!
I suggest scrubbing REALLY good with soap. A good type of soap though.
    Folex!

Get it at your local supermarket in the cleaning isle.

    It takes out everything
Try Oxyclean. Its alot safer than most chemicals.
DON'T LET IT DRY!!!!!! Getting out wet stains is WAY easier than dried ones. Spray shout on it and cover with Saran wrap until you can do something else.

Meanwhile, go to Target/Walmart / Etc and buy a Bissell little green machine. It'll cost $40, but it will be very worth it. Bring it home and use it, it should work. I've seen it get nasty things out of my carpet.
    i would try TIDE-TO-GO. that stuff's amazing
if it is fresh ammonia might work. i got ink everywhere once while refilling cartridge. good luck.
    bleach it
hair spray...spray till wet...blot with a WHITE paper towel. Get up as much as you can...use a stain remover and clean the carpet. (never use bleach on a carpet...it eats the fibers, not to mention bleaching it)
If none of those suggestions work. then buy a little area rug.

Can you answer now about Dell Printer and ink?

ok, I have refilled my Dell ink cartridges three times and now the printer refuses the cartridges by saying there is no cartridges in the printer. First, can you tell me how to tell if the usb cables are plugged into the right spot? Is there a cheap aio printer that uses cheap ink and compatible with Dell printer? Can you answer now about Dell Printer and ink?
I know nothing about Dell printers but I know that with every other make of printer I have had, Canon, Lexmark, Hp etc after you refill the cartridge so many times, about 3 or 4, you need a new cartridges as the connectors burn out. If you notice there is a metal bit in the cartridge and to my layman's understanding when printing the metal cartridge tips heat up and that is how the ink gets on the page. The more times it is heated the more it burns it out. This could be the reason but perhaps someone can tell you something helpful as to why yours wont work and you can get it going. I always buy a new cartridges as a matter of routine after 4 fills.

In relation to the USB. If it worked before and it is in the same place I would think that it was not the cable at fault and as I have not got a Dell, again, I am sorry I am of no help there. I also can't help with a compatable recomendation for a Dell printer. Can you answer now about Dell Printer and ink?
This is definitely because you've already refilled them 3 times. Generally 3 is the limit before the cartridges and chips degrade.

If you are looking to save some dollars on Dell cartridges, I'd recommend remanufactured ones here: http://www.castleink.com/_Dell.html

That said, I really loath Dell printers because they use a lot of ink and genuine replacement cartridges are a rip off. Honestly, if you are looking for a new printer, consider an HP, Canon or Epson. I'm especially fond of Canon.

Can you make t-shirts with regular printer ink?

My friend said she just printed off a picure then ironed it on her shirt

does this really work? Can you make t-shirts with regular printer ink?
yes you can... depending on what exactly the picture is you are trying to use and weather or not your printer can print it the way you want. the paper that is used is Inkjet transfer paper. most fabric hobby shops will carry it as well as Wal-Mart. hope this helps. Can you make t-shirts with regular printer ink?
Your friend is right. First get t-shirt transfer paper; you can find at printing accessories shop in your area. Then, print image you want to transfer onto printable surface of the paper. After that, place t-shirt on smooth surface, lay transfer paper on t-shirt face down.

    At last iron the paper.

Please note that this paper applicable for inkjet printer only. DO NOT use it for laser printer. Oh yes, you can use Hannes T-shirt Maker to design your own t-shirt

Is it a problem if i refill my HP printer with Canon Ink?

I accidentally bought Canon Ink instead of HP ink. I want to refill my printer with this ink. Is it a problem? Can anything go wrong or will it work the same?Is it a problem if i refill my HP printer with Canon Ink?
The only problem there could be is the colours are not the same. Each printer manufactures makes each colour slightly different to another manufacturer using the same colour. If HP's inks are different colours then you may notice that your print outs are not the same using the Canon ink. Apart from that, it should be fine.Is it a problem if i refill my HP printer with Canon Ink?
no if you know what your doing, basically just dont make a big or deep hole and everything should be fine, the ink refil packages are usually for all carts so hp or cannon should not make a diffrence.
Do you mean ink or the cartridge? If it's ink, not a problem but as mentioned the colors may vary. If it's the cartridge then no.

How much less ink do laser printer use than inkjet printers?

Is it worth spending $120 on a laser printer since it uses less ink or is it better to just pay $50 for an inkjet printer and buy more ink?

Vaguely, how much less ink do laser printers use?How much less ink do laser printer use than inkjet printers?
Well, laser printers don't use ink. They use toner. The smart @ss answer is, you pay $0 on ink. To really see the cost saving is to compare the price per page (P/P). For a laser printer you're looking about 2-5 cents P/P. An ink jet printer, your looking about 10-15 cents.

It depends on your printing jobs. If you print tons of pictures, an inkjet will produce higher quality prints. Since they can create about up to 2500 dpi. Toner can generate about 600dpi.

If you use a printer few and far between or your mainly printing documents or don't care about quality as much go for a laser. Toner doesn't dry up as inkjets do. If you don't print every few weeks on an inkjet, the printer heads will dry up. The toner is a dry powder, the most it'll do is it might settle if U don't use it for extended periods, but a gentle shake should take care of it.

Can you get a printer ink refill kit.?

yeah but it's not worth it,only works 1/2 the time. walgreens has a refill service for about 10$ a cartridgeCan you get a printer ink refill kit.?
    the answer is yes....

You can buy either a refill kit(usually that means you get a bottle of ink and a syringe to inject into your old cartridge),

or you can buy a remanfactured ink cartridge(a used cartridge that another company(not the original manfacturer) refilled for you),

or there are some systems out there that help you refill your ink for you(automated ink refill systems), not that messy

or there are some compatible printers that allow you to have a stored reservoir of ink

refill kits are usually 5-10 times cheaper, but at the expense of being more messier. I've refilled my color ink cartridge a few times before using syringes. the first time was a mess, but the next few times, i learnt how to do it, wasn't a mess.

the thing is that, depending on your printer cartridge, ink refilling can only happen for a couple of times per cartridge. Mines a HP, cartridge HP 22, the print head is on the cartridge. There is a limited page printing before the print head burns out(its just like that), or the head dries out(because of low quality ink used by the ink refill manufacturer, and you need to soak the head in water/force the ink out)

the ink refill i used has a weird smell....

overall, its messy, but its worth not paying $100/ounce of ink... im paying about $15 for about 6-10 refills, compared to an ink cartridge that costs $20....Can you get a printer ink refill kit.?
Yes, at any Walmart, Kmart, Office Depot... just about anywhere that sells office supplies. But a word of advice. Stick to the old saying: You get what you pay For , because from personal experience I highly recommend just buying them new! Refilling them and buying the refilled ones only work about a week. Trust me they stop working right when you most need to print something important!
Yes you can, Check at Wal-Mart, Office Depot or any office supply store.:)
At certain walgreens, on Sept. 12 they are doing FREE ink jet refils. But you can only have one done... so if i were you i would choose the color... its the more expensive one. Don't miss it, its only for that one day... I know i am going.

Potassium Permanganate crystals and printer ink?

I accidentally combined them and Created heat- can anyone explain why please? ThanksPotassium Permanganate crystals and printer ink?
Potassium permanganate is a very strong oxidising agent, so I guess it has reacted with oxidisable organic material in the ink.Potassium Permanganate crystals and printer ink?
Printer inks frequently contain humectant agents to stop them drying up in the cartridge and clogging the head.

Ethylene glycol is a common one used. This would easily react with the permanganate.

If you ever get the chance to see a glycerine/permanganate reaction, it's quite spectacular! Report Abuse

An exothermic chemical reaction occurred where the printer ink and the potassium permanganate chemically interacted and in the process gave off heat energy into the surroundings.

http://www.stinkyinkshop.co.uk/acatalog/鈥?/a>Can a Cannon printer fit another version of cannon printer ink?
An ink that is made for another model will probably not fit the one that you want to use. You should always use the right one otherwise you may cause problems with your printer.

A CIS can damage the printer head if you are using poor quality ink. You will also need to do a lot of maintenance by way of print head cleanings and regular alignments (about every two weeks)

Another things is you will also need to download software to override the epson warning systems.

The cartridges are worth $2 each at Staples, recycle value. If you put them on craigslist, if someone has exactly that printer and needs cartridges, you might get more.

The printer has negligible value, unless you can prove that it works well. Few people have the skills to fix this kind of stuff, and printers are generally inexpensive. You could check eBay or craigslist to see how much people are asking for printers that might not be working.

Time is the only way to do this. Ink from the printer is like ink from a permanent marker. Please take note of the word PERMANENT. It will fade with time, washing and as your skin regenerates. Bleach may help to lighten the color but you will not be happy with the dry hands afterwards. I don't recommend it, but do a test patch first and see how the spot reacts for a few hours before trying to wash/soak your hands in it if you have to. It depends on if the ink is color fast ink or not if the bleach will work.

Sorry dude, you may just have earned the new nickname of Rainbow Hands. How do I get printer cartridge ink off of my hands? Serious answers people!?
he best thing to do is soak them in real hot water for as long as u can, and then put rubber gloves on to start sweating and it should work. xx
take some really gritty soap or face wash to your hands.

if that doesn't do it, you just need to wait til it comes off on it's own.
Petrol, it also removes gloss paint from carpet and grease from clothes, hands etc.
some chemicals can cause dermatitis so you have to be carefull i have used washing liquid with some sugar tipped in to it and then scrub with a nail brush (once you have dermatitis it can re-occur and it isnt nice)
depending on the type of ink, vinegar might do the trick. seriously
meths or (a lot of) deodorant
    Scrub with alcohol and soap.
Its not really ink it is dye, I have used a product called goof off and also I used warm water with dish soap and a green scrubbing type pad.. and time as it isnt coming off easy or fast!
    hairspray maybe
Try 100% acetone sell in any drug store it will do the trick. Good Luck.
Try milk if not vinigar or juice from a lemon.
White spirits, if you have none household bleach but either way wassh your hands thouroughly afterwards
try some rubbing alcohol or those prep alcohol pads from the hospitals
Now you know to wear gloves to protect your hands. Did you try bleach? You didn't mention that. Don't mix any other cleaners with it except dish or laundry soap.
    Nothing to worry about.

Kerosene works. So does WD40. In fact, I recommend WD40. Available at any hardware store. Spray it on, wait a minute or so and wash with water.

Wash again with soap and water to get rid of the WD40 scent.

What is a good printer (concerning ink life) for occasional use?

One of my friends had a printer that she used every few months but it was always dry. It turned out that the printer used the ink to keep the nozzles from drying out. I need a colour printer with a long ink life, even if the printer isn't being used. It also needs to be low cost because I don't want to spend a pile of money on a printer that is rarely used. Is this possible?

Is there a way to extend the ink life? Such as removing the cartridges when not in use? What is a good printer (concerning ink life) for occasional use?
Get a laser printer, they almost never run out of ink. Here is a good deal on one: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B鈥?/a>What is a good printer (concerning ink life) for occasional use?
    canon

How can i save my printer ink?

the inks are so expensive, can anyone provide me some ways to save my ink?How can i save my printer ink?
You can most often go into the ';Properties'; setting of your printer's print box (this usually only comes up if you click on print under the ';File'; menu in the toolbar of your application, using the print button on the app usually prints at default quality) and if what you are printing is for personal use, such as a text document, choose ';fast'; or ';low'; on the print speed or quality button or tab. This will not only use less ink, it will print faster, usually a little lighter, but still good quality. Reserve the default settings for pictures, photos etc. If you use the fastest print settings for most of your printing needs you should see a significant ink savings, stretching your ink out as much as twice as far or more, depending on the make and model of your printer. How can i save my printer ink?
use compatible cartridges instead of name brand. use cartridges which give you more ink. While the name brands have been cutting back on the amount of ink they provide, many compatible manufacturers have not. Epson gives you a miserly 7 ml of ink. CCS-digital.com gives you 20 ml, almost triple the amount. And you can get 11 free cartridges every month. Read http://www.ccs-digital.com/freeink.asp for details.
Get a CISS for your printer. It will save you TONS of MONEY, never change a cartridge again and it will pay for itself in a month.

try not to print things that aren't really important and also try to make either the font or picture or whatever you are printing out smaller

Well I wanted to deliver my printer to another country using their air delivery service. However, DHL wanted me to take out the ink catridges. Why is that? Why cant I send my printer with its ink catridges inside on a plane ride?
Ink is flammable. There also may be some issue with the pressure causing a leak. Why cant I send my printer with its ink catridges inside on a plane ride?
...and inks are considered liquids/gels and those are no-nos unless they are in a 1qt bag...wonder how much Ziploc paid for THAT.

  • What brand of ink jet printer do you recommend for Windows XP and why?

I have a Dell Dimension XPS R350 computer with Windows XP installed. I am currently using an Epson Stylus C40UX printer that a friend of mine gave me. Right now, it's not working the way it should. Do you have any knowledge about the Pros %26amp; Cons of this printer? Are there any other brands you would recommend? Please let me know what and why, and also what to stay away from. Thank you. What brand of ink jet printer do you recommend for Windows XP and why?
I like the HP Printers. They have great support if you need it and the quality is outstanding.

Normally I like Epson, but found they their color cartridges dry up too fast or end up bleeding all over the place. What brand of ink jet printer do you recommend for Windows XP and why?
i have 1 epson and 1 HP and both are working fine
You should use HP photosmart works really good.
I like my HP Photosmart 3210 All-In-One.....It does everything that i want....and even connects directly to my network rather than having to worry about printer sharing. All features work through the network for all computers....ex...i can scan from all computers on my network. It also has Slide and Negative scanning capabilities....Also has a smart card reader....

Another great feature is the fact that it has 6 separate ink cartridges...Each one is a different color...you can replace it when you run out of each color rather than having to spend $30 to replace a tri-color cartridge because you ran out of Blue...but still have plenty of Magenta and Yellow....
I would stick with Epson cx3650 (mine) or cannon. Reason being is compatible inks. Print quality is pretty good for the non professional.

Why is my new printer, with new ink in it giving me very faded pictures?

It's a brand new canon pixma all in one printer, with brand new ink inside, and i just tried printing a coloured picture but it came out very faded, as though it was dyed by the sun. Why is this happening and how can i fix it?Why is my new printer, with new ink in it giving me very faded pictures?
Check your printer settings on your computer to make sure it is not set on draft quality (should set at high or best quality).

Also check your printer to make sure that the printer cartridges are installed properly, that all the plastic covering has been removed and that nothing is obstructing the print heads.

Then make sure you are using the correct paper type for that printer.

If you are printing photos, then you want to use Photo grade paper.

    Inkjet Printer's Printing Problems

What is going on with my printer's ink cartridge?

My HP ink cartridge is nowhere near empty but when I want to print something, the words appear fine at the top of the page and suddenly towards the middle or end of the page the words begin to fade and all I'm left with are white horizontal streaks indicating nothing!

i aligned the cartridge 5 times and the same thing happened! What do I do?!What is going on with my printer's ink cartridge?
If you haven't already run a print head cleaning, I'd definitely suggest you try that first. If that doesn't work, you may need to manually clean the cartridge. Instructions for doing so can be found here:

http://www.castleink.com/_clean-print-he鈥?/a>What is going on with my printer's ink cartridge?
It seems you have to replace the ink cartridges.

If you want to save time and money, choose new compatible or remanufactured ink cartridges
its probably the circuit board on the printer. look for a Serial number(its just a bunch of numbers) on the circuit board and go to a computer repair man or just replace the printer
    Plugged cartridge. Buy another

I have a laser printer - but only have clear labels for an ink jet printer. Will it work?

I can't find the right size of labels for a laser printer - so I bought the ones for an ink jet. I know that if I did it the other way around (used laser printer labels on an ink jet printer - that they wouldn't dry). But - can I use ink jet labels on a laser printer?I have a laser printer - but only have clear labels for an ink jet printer. Will it work?
it MIGHT work but if your laser printer has a heating element inside..it would likely melt your labels and ruin the printer. They're a clear ';plastic-like'; labels, right? If so, give the manufacturer a call and see what they'd suggest. Tell them what you want to do, and maybe they'll tell you you're ';good to go';..if not..they'll tell u what labels to get to achieve the outcome you're looking for.I have a laser printer - but only have clear labels for an ink jet printer. Will it work?
Clear labels should not be used in a laserjet printer. The laserjet printers use heat to make the text/images stick to the paper, clear labels are plastic and will melt or in some cases the heat lifts the labels off of the contact paper and will stick to the interior surfaces of the printer and always in places that you can't get to easily to remove them.

So the answer to your question is NO!.
no two difforent kinds of printers you can get what you need real cheap at staples or wall mart just tell them your printer brand they will help you
No. Those are plastic labels they will melt into your fuser causing permanent damage.
Yes. And please don't forget to vote best answer after you've proved me right ;)
probably, you'll want to check the package. Laser printers get hot, and sometimes they'll make plastic things like those labels melt. You don't want that.
Nope...those may actually melt in the printer ...I wouldnt use those...
no... the fuser will melt/ ruin the paper.

How do i refill a Lexmark x1200 printer ink cartridge?

I am working on a wood project and want to put a picture I printed up from my ink jet printer onto it so its?

more permanent but don't want the ink to run. Any suggestions?I am working on a wood project and want to put a picture I printed up from my ink jet printer onto it so its?
You can use reverse printing onto transfer paper. The kind that will transfer the image onto a tee shirt, for example, I think it would also transfer on to the wood and you could seal it in place with a clear finish. Try it on a piece of scrap first to see if it will do what you want.I am working on a wood project and want to put a picture I printed up from my ink jet printer onto it so its?
Normaly, I would suggest you pick up some decopage from a local craft and hoby store, but I believe it is water based and most ink-jet colors will run.

One suggestion I can offer is for you get some special water resistant inks used to make archived photos from an ink jet.

Another suggestion is perhaps to get some fabric transfer paper from the computer store. Print your image, transfer it to a piece of fabric THEN decoupage it to your piece of wood.

In either case, try this on a scrap piece of wood before you do it to your final piece. Good luck.

  • What does the number on the printer(ink) cartridge mean?

I need to buy new ink for my printer, so I was wodering what the number on the cartride meant. like the 22 in this picture...

http://cdn.overstock.com/images/products/etilize/images/300/11200715.jpgWhat does the number on the printer(ink) cartridge mean?
It is a reference number that HP (and all the other printer manufactures) use to identify their cartridges.

They usually have two numbers, a part number and a short name.

Short Name for yours is the HP 22 Color, while the part number is C9352AN.

That is just how they do it, who knows why. What does the number on the printer(ink) cartridge mean?
i believe its just the number to distinguish the type of cartridge dependant on the model of your printer. There maybe several printers that can take cartridge number 22.
I think he is right, it's like a serial number so you can use that when you order the refills.

Is there any ink for printer that will not get dry?

I hardly use my printer so the ink went dry. I know, the way to prevent this from happening is to use it once a week and that is not an option. Is there any brand of ink that will not get dry?

Or, if I take out the ink cartridge if I am not using it, will that prevent the drying out? I am talking about weeks and maybe

months in between use.Is there any ink for printer that will not get dry?
Actually, if u take the cartridge out, it gets worse. This is because the cartridges are actually capped inside the printer to reduce the vapor loss, to reduce the rate of it drying out. If you take it out and expose it, it will dry out even faster.

If you really use it that seldom, you should consider laserjet printers. They do not use liquid ink and hence it does not dry out. Any other inkjets, no matter what brand, will dry out.Is there any ink for printer that will not get dry?
unfortunately no.ink is a liquid so it will dry after a time.Especially if you refill because the cartage is not sealed air tight..good luck
What do you mean by ink dry? My printer is weird, it prints out a few pages, but the next thing it prints out is blank. The next day it prints again and the ink goes blank again. . .Is it because my ink got dried?

Do you guys know how i can erase laser printer ink from paper withoutscratching it?

I would like to erase a word that was typed with a laser printer ink . do you know what i can use to remove it without damaging the document. Some people told me to use isopropyl or acetone but it didnt work. any other ideas. please!Do you guys know how i can erase laser printer ink from paper withoutscratching it?
It cannot be erased. The toner (it is not ink) is made of plastic particles bonded to iron particles (just like those used in photocopiers). Upon printing, this is heat fused unto the paper.

Reprint the page.Do you guys know how i can erase laser printer ink from paper withoutscratching it?
    WITE OUT庐
Laser printers burn the letters into the paper, so the best solution is to throw the paper out and print another one.
Just reprint it. The way the toner (ink) is made to adhere to the paper prohibits you from erasing it. You could always try just a pen eraser, but it does damage the document.
use white out(it may be bumpy)
