What happens to out of date printer ink?

I saw some at the markets for $2 a cartridge, but it was out of date? shopuld I try it or pay $30 for a newey? Have you tryed out of date ink before? Ive a HP printerWhat happens to out of date printer ink?
The nozzles of the cartridge get dried out so it stops working after the expiration date. It depends on how old it is, though. The cartridge will work fine after the expiration date, but if it's really expired then you will have to do some work to get the cartridge going.





If it's less than 6 months past the expiration date, you should be able to soak the bottom portion of the cartridge to unclog it. If it was only $2, then it might be worth a shot. But if it's like a year or two expired then don't bother.What happens to out of date printer ink?
out of date inks are not that bad. just make sure that its packaging is still very much intact.
It simply means the items are old. It's cheap but the color quality and color lifespan is poor as compared to new inks. Buy a new ink instead.
They dry out.....?
