How do you get a printer ink stain out of car upholstery / carpet?

Blot the stain with some rubbing alcohol...How do you get a printer ink stain out of car upholstery / carpet?
hairspray %26amp; lots %26amp; lots of water *if you have a wet vac* or something similar. I got drops of red ink on my 7 day old carpet!!!! I sprayed it with a bunch of hairspray (works for ballpoint pen ink so thought i'd try it) and i took my carpet shampooer thing (cheap rug doctor that barely works) and planted it right by the stain %26amp; just kept pouring water and letting that rug doctor suck the water right up. It flushed the stain out. YOu can only barely see a tiny bit of pink if you know right where to look. How do you get a printer ink stain out of car upholstery / carpet?
I have the secret for removing any stains. My 3 y/o painted my carpet with red paint (latex paint!). I mix equal parts oxi clean with warm water and tide detergent in a spray bottle. Then I shake it and spot treat. I swear it removes anything.
